Greenwich, CT – ECAD’s founders and other ECAD volunteers and staff will introduce Barcelona the service dog-in-training to Barcelona the restaurant on Friday, August 12, 2011 at noon.
New York, NY and nationwide – On Tuesday, August 9, 2011 Rosie, ECAD’s courthouse dog, made her second appearance on national television on the NBC Nightly News.

NASA International Space Station – With the amazing support of our ECAD friends, family and fans, ECAD’s Project HEAL was honored by being chosen as a Fragile Oasis Project of the Week! Fragile Oasis is a program begun by a NASA astronaut to inspire people to improve life on our planet.

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada – Visit the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind National Training Centre on Saturday, August 6 to gain an in-depth view of the organization and meet the dogs. Demonstrations, barbecue, free admission.

Oceanside, CA – Canine Companions will celebrate International Assistance Dog Week at its graduation ceremony on Friday, August 12, 2011 and the public is invited. The graduation ceremony will also include volunteer puppy raisers turning in the CCI puppies they have been raising and training.
