Celebrating Service Animals & Assistance Animals for the Disabled

Celebrating Service Animals

When: Friday, August 13, 2010, 5-8 pm
Where: Towson Mall Center, lower level, Towson, Maryland

Join us as we honor Delegate Susan McComas with a proclamation for her attempts, on numerous occasions, to introduce a bill concerning the protection of victims of domestic violence and their pets and service animals (unfortunately, to date, this bill has not passed). We recognize her unrelenting efforts on issues concerning people with disabilities and seniors.

We will be presenting service animal demonstrations and providing information handouts. You can also find out about having your service animal registered with the United States Service Dog Registry.

This is a collaborative effort of two organizations, Renegade’s Foundation and the Baltimore Assistance Dog Club, to celebrate National Assistance Dog Week and provide educational information concerning service animals/assistance animals to the general public and businesses.
