City of Berkeley Assistance Dog Week Proclamation

City of Berkeley Issues Assistance Dog Awareness Week Proclamation

The City of Berkeley will proclaim the week of August 5-11, 2012, as Assistance Dog Week and reaffirm Berkeley’s  commitment to respect, celebrate and recognize assistance dogs and their partners this week and throughout the year in our community.

The Proclamation will be received by Hazel Weiss and Virgil, Service Dog Partners representing the Berkeley Commission on Disability at the City Council meeting on July 24, 2012 at 7:00 mp.m. City Council meetings are held at 2134 Martin Luther King Jr Way,  and are  open to the public.
