Kinston, NC Service Dog Awareness Day

Team Darlene Thomas and SD Storm Spread Awareness

Where: Lenoir Memorial Hospital, Main Entrance, 100 Airport Rd. Kinston, NC 28501

Team Darlene Thomas and SD Storm will be holding a service dog awareness press conference at the main entrance to Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston, NC.

She will be presenting a brief overview of what a service dog is, what a service dog does, and what to do and not to do when coming in contact with one.

There will be a proclamation signing in honor of National Assistance Dog Week.

Attendees will include vice president of the hospital, Bill Lease; County Chairman, George Graham; members of  the Sheriff’s Department, the Fire Marshall, members of Greene Lamp, reporter G. Gerber from the Kinston Free Press, and reporters from News 9 WNCT, and News 12 WCTI.

This event is being held as an effort to spread awareness about  these amazing dogs and the lives they change.
