Event Objectives:
1. Define and distinguish between the roles and legal statues of emotional support pets and psychiatric service dogs
2. Differentiate and describe appropriate client populations and needs for emotional support pets and psychiatric service dogs
3. Describe the general avenues through which emotional support pets and psychiatric service dogs may be obtained
4. Explain at least 3 ways in which an emotional support pet may promote mental health and wellness.
5. Describe at least 3 specific ways a psychiatric service dog can function to mitigate specific psychiatric symptoms.
