Service dogs: an informational session for people with disabilities and local business owners
Canine Connection LLC/Paws With A Cause are putting on an informational presentation/demonstration at East Dubuque District Library August 25 at 11 am.
This event is being held to educate the community, local businesses, and people who would like to learn more about service dogs about:
- how the dogs are trained
- what they are trained to do to assist people with disabilities
- how to qualify for and obtain a service dog
- applicable laws
There will be a short video introduction, followed by a presentation and then a demonstration by a certified service demonstration dog.
