In honor of National Assistance Dog Week, USA Battle Buddies is holding a Walk-a-Thon.

The USA Battle Buddies Walk-a-Thon will be held Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Colt State Park Bristol, RI 02809 from 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM

USA Battle Buddies voluntarily trains Service Dogs exclusively for Combat Wounded Veterans. Our most recent graduate, Black,  a Belgian Malinois now serves his USMC Vietnam Combat Wounded Veteran as a Balance Walker/PTSD Service Dog.

K-9 Buddy Black
Issued to USMC Disabled Combat Wounded Veteran Michael Mick Woll
In Memory of USMC Pfc Kyle J. Coutu, KIA Afghanistan 18 Feb 2010

All proceeds from Aug 13th Walk-a-Thon will go toward issuing another Combat Wounded Veteran a Service/Assistance Dog in Memory of a Veteran who gave their all [their life for the USA]. We at USA Battle Buddies are a group of dedicated volunteer Disabled Veterans who help other Disabled Veterans through our dedication toward our Buddies.

Battle Buddies Service Dogs now cost less than $1,000 to Disabled Veteran and hopefully in very near future will be totally free of charge as a result of your generous support.
