My 2005 Has Gone Synthetic

Walmart doesn't carry Conventional Oil in my car's weight and OReillys explained that they're not either, I made the jump to Synthetic. Actually, I purchased and am now running a Semi-Synthetic Valvoline Oil in the proper viscosity.

The breakdown is much slower on the synthetic. Since you have a Semi-synthetic I will recommend you to check around 3500 mile the status and color of the oil. If it is blackish or too thin (watery) change it and go full synthetic. The color changed is because the new oil is "cleaning" all the parts that has old oil residue and any possible sludge. Once you change it again enjoy the car for another 5K-7K miles.
