How to update PIWIS tester 2 to V15.1?

1. Download update software DVD listed above;

2. Select “Tool- DVD Update” and the software will be installed automatically;

3. Click Yes to confirm released DVD installation prompt;

4. Select OK to perform setup

5. When see the following screen, wait until the whole upgrade process is ok (it might cost around 4 to 7 hours).

6. Open the software after computer reboot, check the Porsche PIWIS V15.100 software information.

I have the PIWIS I copy and is all that you need. No need to pay for the II version for our 996. It cleared my airbag code so it easily paid for itself on the first try. It will come with the old software which may or may not work if you have a newer computer/os(I run it on an old XP laptop). But the old software is all you need for the 996.
